INTRODUCTION:

Scrutiny of the administration aspects it’s easier to pronounce the word administration and management. Looking into the theoretical scenario, the balance with the ongoing placid of the nursing department has to make way for better upliftment. We all understand the terminology that administration is getting the work done, and management focuses on executing the work, however the pinnacle of reasoning is, do they ever put themselves in other persons shoes before they plan, act and execute the reality. The challenges a nursing personnel faces during the decision making is mainly because of the undue involvement of people who are unaware and blinded to the licensing working ethics. Have we ever given a thought why nursing personnel are the soul for functioning of the health department? Why are they called as the heart for the operationalising and the technical functioning of medical area? There are several rationality towards why, that will give a brighter and an eye opening, subjecting to the world of reality.

1. Non nursing personnel holding nursing places:

This applies to the people who work in clinics and hospitals who undertake non licensed nursing personnel’s and neither have undergone or completed any nursing education that are neither duly affiliated to the university and nursing council.

2. License to practice overlooked:

Hiring of these nursing personnel’s who are untitled as non-licensed individuals should be barred from practising and those clinics and hospitals should be brought under jurisdiction. The measure to curb this practises is possible through nursing council and law enforcement.

3. Undue involvement of people looking for personal benefits:

These non-licensed personnel’s working among the patients are overworked and under payed at times they do the misery jobs that are not related to nursing, therefore the image of a licensed practice nurse goes unbalanced, instance nurses hired as daily wage workers from bureaus.

Since, they are non-licensed they agree to the remuneration that are not applicable for licensed nurse the pathetic scenario is they are hired in nursing homes and in patient related aspects. The adjacent source to be taken hold is the training centres that are opened and recruiting trained personnel’s to have a transfer of skill and knowledge. The solution to be affirmed from nursing regulatory body is to act like a double edge sword for the training centre and also for the licensed nursing personnel who agree to train them. Better not be blind folded to these mediocracy.

4. Unaware of the broad spectrum dynamic areas in different roles and responsibilities:

The vast canvas of nursing roles and responsibilities are widely unknown and the designations that they uphold in an organization, an exemplary that suits the situation is Nursing Colleges recruiting Nursing personnel’s as Dean are rare. Hence, discharge of these designations should be encouraged and applied for betterment.

5. The mould to enhance the steps to nursing advancement:

Encourage sending national nurses overseas as experts as this allows exchange of knowledge and skills, at the same time allows to understand their licensing practises.

6. Belitting:

Perceiving nursing only as nurses is the understanding of layman, the wider and broader concept that she upholds as an advocate, specialised trained nurses, manager, administrator, educator, trainer, ICN experts, researchers are to be explored and designated, promote them to acquire higher stability, move forward and contribute to their growth without favouritism, recognize and appreciate the novice nursing personnel’s as that impacts their upward movement in hierarchy. Loyalty records and cooperation should be manifested and confidential as most of the times human resources are liable to mislead information of license holders, incidents of forging documents have been reported, solved and dissolved after the scrutiny. Incidence of repartition has been useful when applied appropriately. Nursing schools and colleges that stands within an overnight only for the purpose of inspection should be barred, this is where the role of student nurses plays into action who have the right to raise their voices through student nurses association and bring this to the notice of nursing council. It’s a derogatory fact that those involved in these sublimation are they themselves holding, Nursing education, instead of saying no these acts they are the major drawbacks in nursing management system. Newspapers reporting the surprise inspection by nursing council in nursing school to find classes uphold in sheds the worst scenario ever manifested. Neverthless, it’s the nursing colleges who have followed all the criteria of licensing and registration to bring out and mushroom better nursing personnel’s for a better tomorrow.

7. Valuable, resourceful and etiquettes:

Resourceful nursing personnel’s are valued, since they develop the curriculum, research practices, clinical efficiency, critical thinking, and outsourcing development in nursing practices, in conjunction to the etiquettes for licenseto practise.

8. Sources of fund and sponsorships:

Sources that support for research funding, clinical excellence, education and exhibiting nursing research is an excellence for nursing, both present and futuristic.

9. Ignoranceby organization:

Unheard and reluctant although nursing personnel’s are known to be best decision makers for nursing functioning and technicality, since innovation arrives through them as they are the first person in contact with patients.

10. Listening ear and helping hands from organization to elevate nursing image:

Listen, act and solve is the ultimate solutions. Instinct development and resolving without favours are appropriate since humanity concerns are associated and Independency to practice is already legislated, standing orders are already in practices in most of the clinical settings.

11. Liberty in planning and decision making process related to nursing functionality and technicality has been a major achievement

12. Provision of resources:

Clinical resources for patient functioning and smooth running of the department has been possible due to the yearly fiscal and budget planning.

Quick look for adversaries and avoid unnecessary hassles not associated with nursing aspects.

Administrative the nursing role is soul functioning of the reincarnation of nursing growth. Therefore, strong decision makers are essentialpays, incentives, functionality, research development, incentives for overtime, leaves, employees fund, allowances, travelling allowancesetc. should be applicable in all nursing functional areas whether private or governmentand that’s possible.

13. Voice and face torepresent:

Stand for the nursing cause to address their worth, gratitude and concerns. The Directorate of health services plays a major role for sublimation of effective strategy, found to be incoherent although, nursing professional have their own voices that has to be uplifted.

CONCLUSION:

Challenges should be identified, planned and solved as nursing remains an integral part of health system. Eminent nursing professionals with sound knowledge and guidelines that revokes these challenges should be transformers of Nursing Avenue.
